Is there a single structure for the
expression? Or, We are more familiar with the single framework of expression.
Any act of expression, in any medium, involves the use of opposites or
contrasting personalities. Is the existence of one is so dependent on the
other? What do I mean by this expression?
He is tall. The people who are tall
behave in random ways. But, what we have managed to capture and showcase to the
world is a small part of the whole spectrum. And, now everyone considers it the
mainstream behavior or an accepted form of expression. And, if any form of
expression involving tall people deviates from the standard model of the
framework, We call it experimental or useless or unique or unknown. Many terms
can be cited for such kind of expressions or works depending upon the nature of
the people.
The Form Of Expression
The foundational platform of the
expression is a large field, which can't be captured as a whole but only
infractions and parts. The range of emotions are unlimited, but we have
associated ourselves with only a few of them. And, the ecosystem around us
plays the role of the network effect. When this becomes the norm, then the
problem of each description starts creeping into the society. Because we have
let ourselves to be limited by the number of expressions or forms, we have
become accustomed to measured response or behavior. The society has created a
set of response for the set of emotions, which most of us follow without asking
any questions. And, if anyone questions the authority of the society, society blames
on the society. It is the biggest and most potent excuse ever made in human
history.
The act Of Society
This works in the favor of
reinforcing its shared values and stereotypes. Many flickers of incidents,
which spark at uncertain times in the ecosystem boost the image of the society
and its ideals. The individual is, most of the times, clueless about the ways
in which the society functions.
The Limitations of Opposites
The expression of an emotion is
limited by the single format, and that is presenting two opposites
characteristic of a situation. While many reasons can be cited for the wide
adoption of this format, but one of the most prominent is the concept of
contextualization. This is very important in our lives, and in our interaction
with other human beings. If we are unaware the context of a dialogue or a
result, then it becomes quite complex for our brain to process the events
occurring in front of us. This is true for most of the art forms and
expressions. Providing context to the people for understanding the narrative
and making something of the whole situation is rather important if you want
your work to be understood by the majority.
The Path Of Sanity
The scope of defining a situation in
any given context varies widely depending upon the audiences. But then, you
have alternative routes to create your work. Thinking about the people who will
read your work is the biggest fence you can build around your creativity.
